We are happy to play anywhere within an hour's
driving from West London.
We are pretty flexible on times ...
but we probably need to get to bed before dawn as we don't have the
staying power we once had ...
CHARGES
HIGH STANDARDS have toned down the Rock & Roll
lifestyle a bit these days, so our charges will be reasonable or,
under certain cicumstances, may even be waived.
Clearly we would expect you to cover our expenses and a bit of
decent food and drink will always tempt us!! Do contact us to
discuss a price for your event.
EVENTS
HIGH STANDARDS is the ideal musical offering where you
want easy listening that is complementary and not too intrusive.
We try to create an environment in which people can listen or
socialise as they wish.
If they want to get up and dance - GREAT - but we are not a disco
and folk would need to swing gently the way they used to when we were
young.
We are happy to play any well known Jazz Standards from the period on request and, with
a bit of notice, can tailor a complete set for a specific person or
group.
We would be the perfect accompaniment to any garden parties, birthdays, dinners, anniversaries and more
informal weddings.
